چکیده

Abstract A method for time‐domain motion compensation of high frequency (HF) radar signals the case a floating transmitter and fixed receiver is proposed when parameters (including amplitude angular motion) are not known priori. In this study, platform assumed to follow single‐frequency model. Additionally, instead trying estimate from received motion‐contaminated Doppler spectrum, which proportional observed cross‐section ocean surface platform, autocorrelation function electric field estimated, related by application an inverse temporal Fourier transform. By comparing locations zeros antenna with that on finding associated motion, estimated. These matched actual parameter values, motion‐compensated spectrum recovered platform.

Effect of Platform Surge Motion on the Performance of 5MW NREL Offshore Floating Wind Turbine

In this study, an unsteady aerodynamic simulation is performed to realize the influences of platform surge motion on the aerodynamic performance of a high capacity offshore floating wind turbine. A dynamic model with pitch angle control system is utilized to propose a more realistic model of wind turbine and also achieve the rated condition of the rotor. The transient effect of platform surge m...

Phase Spectra Obtained From

We present and discuss the rst \space based" k ? ! phase diierence spectra between velocity and intensity perturbations in the solar atmosphere. The phase spectra, the view of which is truly bewildering, provide unique information about the dynamics and character of the observed wave elds. The data used in this study were obtained by the Michelson Doppler Imager (MDI) on board SOHO in March 199...

Motion Compensation for High-resolution Synthetic-aperture Sonar Imaging

This paper presents a motion estimation and correction technique for the realization of synthetic-aperture sonar imaging. It utilizes the redundancy provided by the multiple-element receiver array and physical-array sub-images are used for the estimate the motion errors between adjacent receiver positions in the form of phase errors. Subsequently, motion errors can be corrected accordingly by m...

Motion Compensation with Floating Navigator and GRAPPA Operators

Introduction Recent developments in partially parallel imaging (PPI) techniques provide new opportunities for motion artifact reduction [1-2]. One PPI technique that exhibits great potentials in many motion detection and correction scenarios is the GRAPPA operator [3], as the GRAPPA kernels can be flexibly positioned for k-space interpolation and extrapolation in any direction. This work propos...

Floating Cities on Ice Platform

Many small countries are in real need of additional sovereign territory. Sometimes, they even build on rotting landfills and install various kinds of expensive artificial islands. The ocean covers 71% of our Earth’s surface. Those countries (or persons of wealth) starting the early colonization of the ocean may obtain advantages through additional territory or creating their own independent sta...
